I only collect information that you voluntarily provide to me, such as when you use the contact form or email me. This typically includes:

- Brief details of your enquiry
2. How I Use Your Information
I use this information for the sole purpose of responding to your enquiries and managing appointment bookings. The lawful basis for this processing is "Contract" (taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract for counselling) and "Legitimate Interests."
3. Data Retention
If we do not proceed to work together, your enquiry emails are deleted within 6 months. If we do work together, client notes are kept securely in accordance with BACP guidelines and insurance requirements (typically 7 years).
4. Confidentiality
As a counsellor, I am bound by strict ethical codes of confidentiality. I will not share your information with anyone else, with the following rare exceptions:
- If I believe you or someone else is at distinct risk of serious harm.
- If required by a court of law.
- During clinical supervision (where your identity is anonymized to protect your privacy).
5. Cookies
This website uses minimal cookies necessary for site functionality. I do not use invasive tracking pixels or advertising cookies.
