Online Person-Centred Therapy & Private Online Counselling Services

A non-directive, client-centred space for your process.

💻 Online Counselling

We meet via secure video. For many, being in your own space allows for a different kind of safety and comfort. I ensure the privacy of our digital container so you can speak freely.

🛋️ In-Person

We meet at a dedicated physical space. This environment can sometimes help in stepping out of your daily environment to focus entirely on yourself.

🔄 Hybrid

We can blend both approaches. This offers flexibility for your life while maintaining the continuity of our therapeutic relationship.

It's Not About the "Fix"

Many therapies focus on tools, homework, or diagnosis. My approach is different. I work from the conviction that the relationship is the therapy.

I don't have a syllabus for your life. I don't know what the outcome will be. But I trust that if I can provide a relationship defined by realness, deep understanding, and total acceptance, you will find the way forward that is right for you.

Themes we might explore:

There is no "wrong" thing to bring. However, given my background, I often work with:

  • Cultural Ambivalence: Feeling torn between family duty and personal autonomy.
  • Identity & Belonging: navigating minority status or migration.
  • Blocked Growth: Feeling stuck, anxious, or disconnected from yourself.
  • Relationship Dynamics: How we relate to others and ourselves.

Note: If you are in crisis, please contact emergency services or the Samaritans (116 123 in the UK).

Common Questions About Online Counselling

A private online therapist offers a dedicated, ongoing relationship with one therapist who truly knows you. Unlike apps or corporate platforms, there is no algorithm or matching roulette — just a genuine human therapeutic relationship built over time.

Person-centred therapy online works particularly well for anxiety because it removes pressure rather than adding it. Instead of techniques and homework, it creates a safe, non-judgemental space where you can understand your anxiety in your own time and at your own pace.

The core difference is location. Online counselling happens via secure video from wherever you are. Research shows outcomes are equivalent. Online is especially valuable for expats, those in rural areas, frequent travellers, or anyone who simply prefers the safety of their own space.

Yes. Person-centred therapy online for low self-esteem is highly effective because the unconditional positive regard at its core directly counters the self-criticism that drives low self-worth. Over time, experiencing genuine acceptance changes how you relate to yourself.
